Rakhi or Raksha Bandhan with My sister & I - A Twin Story

My sister and I were born on the same day of the same month of the same year, just a few minutes apart. Yes, you would have guessed it by now. We are twins and we are as identical as a brother sister twin pair can be. We used to look very similar when we were young but my sister now has long hair and she has two kids so those childhood days are way behind us.

We used to have the most fun as kids. We have used our similarity to fool so many people. She used to have short hair so the whole drill used to work like a charm. It was hilarious when she went to my class as me once and wrote a very difficult exam for me. This worked because she had taken Sanskrit in school while I had taken French and our exams never fell on the same day. I am not proud of what I did but that is the sneakiest thing we both have done with one another.

She has been my partner in crime and my loving naughty sister. She is now living with her husband and we only get to see each other once in two years but whenever we meet we still have the best time. She is the coolest person I know and the only way I stay connected to her despite the distance is by sending her little presents of souvenirs that would remind her of me. I will be visiting her on Rakhi this year but I have also ordered a lot of presents for her online.

If you are reading this sister, I must tell you that I really miss the fun days we spent together. Remember the one time we tried to fool grandmom with our prank where we dressed up as one another and how she played along for quite sometime and then finally burst out laughing and told us that she knew this all along. We were both red because we felt so played and used. We were really excited about trying to fool her but it did not work. She saw through us. I guess you can't fool family. I loved those days spent with her and with you. Even when I think of those pleasant times I can't help but well up. Those were the most amazing day. I miss them and I miss you.
